Making lists, hit parades and playlists is a genuine obsession for some. Cataloguing is in fact one of the ways of creating order out of the chaos of our ideas: lists are a kind of geographical map, a diagram to follow that sheds light on the road to be followed. Usually these lists are jotted down in diaries – whether electronic or paper – or simple scraps of paper, but they often get lost somewhere about the place or in the memory of our smartphone And yet we keep on making them for everything we want to be able to remember in the future. We like to think of our Yearbooks as one of these lists and we also like to think that this is the reason for the success of a publication so popular with readers and tattoo lovers.
